Habitat and Range
Arctic wolves live in the arctic, usually above 67° north latitude. They can control up to a thousand square miles as a pack, as food is scarce and they need hunting land. Most of the year their home is covered in snow and ice, except for a short time in the summer. This helps their white coat to blend in to their surroundings as they hunt and track their prey.
